Cuneo, Black, Ward & Missler is pleased to announce that on January 1, 2020, Shareholder Christopher M. Wagner achieved the distinction of becoming a California State Bar Certified Legal Specialist in Worker’s Compensation.

The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization certified Chris after he passed an examination and his practice history was evaluated by his peers. His experience, knowledge of the law, expertise in Workers’ Compensation practice, and years of service were found to meet the standards necessary for certification.

Chris joined CBWM in 2011, became a shareholder in 2017 and has been practicing workers’ compensation law for nine years.

Cuneo, Black, Ward & Missler is happy to welcome a new associate. Stephanie Foote started with the Firm effective April 15, 2019.

Stephanie graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law in May 2016 and became of member of the State Bar of California in December 2016. She spent the next two years defending public entities in all sorts of civil actions, including Americans with Disabilities Act claims, employment law disputes, civil rights actions and personal injury lawsuits. Given her background in defending public entities in employment issues, she will bring special insight into her defense of Workers’ Compensation matters.

Stephanie is a native of Colorado and loves outdoors activities. She enjoys camping, kayaking and paddle boarding with her husband and dog.

Cuneo, Black, Ward & Missler is pleased to announce that Laura K. Lachman has become a shareholder of the Firm, effective January 1, 2019. Laura has been employed as an Associate Attorney with CBWM since 2014 and has practiced workers’ compensation law since 2010.
